Anonymous 172 | You can remove solder from a PCB board safely by using a copper wick. What it is is a mesh of fine strands of copper. Place the wick over the area you want to remove solder, heat the area up with a fat-tipped soldering iron, and the mesh will soak up the solder tin very quickly. Afterwards, clean with some alcohol.
Copper wicks are pretty expensive though. |

Anonymous 172 | Solder is a metal compound that you heat with a soldering iron. It melts at high temperatures becomes a solid again rapidly. You can use it to attach metal components together. |
